 (c)  Remove the pins from the aftflap arm and spindle attach points. Lower the aftflap (3) from the airplane.
 NOTE: Make sure that the aftflap is held while you remove the
____ pins. The aftflap weighs approximately 290 pounds (130 kg).
 (d)  
Remove the aftflap.

 (e)  
Make sure the aftflap arms do not move.

Lubricate the four pins with a thin layer of grease.

Install the Inboard Aftflap

 S 424-012
 (1)  
Connect the inboard aftflap to the aftflap arms:

 (a)  
Lift the aftflap (3) into its position on the airplane (Fig. 402).

 (b)  
Put the spindles (4) into the aftflap arms on the midflap.
