Remove the alternate limit switch pack:
(a)
Disconnect the applicable electrical connector DS2102 (inboard power package) or DS2103 (outboard power package).
(b)
Remove the two bolts and washers which attach the alternate limit switch pack to the power package.
(c)
Remove the alternate limit switch pack from the power package.

(1) Make sure the trailing edge flaps are fully retracted.

CAUTION: DO NOT TURN THE INPUT GEAR OF THE LIMIT SWITCH PACK BEFORE YOU
_______ INSTALL IT. THE INPUT SHAFT IS MECHANICALLY LOCKED IN THE 0 DETENT POSITION UNTIL YOU INSTALL IT. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE LIMIT SWITCH PACK.
(2)
Install the alternate limit switch pack:
(a)
Put the alternate limit switch pack into the power package.
1) It can be necessary to turn the switch pack to get the gears to engage.
(b)
Install the two bolts and washers.
(c)
Tighten the bolts.

(4) S 434-008Connect the applicable electrical connector DS2102 (inboard power package) or DS2103 (outboard power package).
(5) S 734-009Do the steps to make sure the TE flaps operate in the alternate electric mode (AMM 27-51-00/501).

(a) If the indication line is not in the tolerance band, adjust the switch pack: 1) Loosen the two adjustment set screws. 2) Turn the fine adjustment screw until the indication line is in the tolerance band.
