Clean the sealant from the mounting bracket.

Install the transmitter module on the bracket so that splined shaft engages with crank.

Install three screws, washers, and nuts.

Tighten the nuts.

WARNING:_______ MOVE ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT AWAY FROM THE STABILIZER AND
THE ELEVATOR SURFACES BEFORE YOU MOVE THE STABILIZER. THE
STABILIZER AND THE ELEVATOR SURFACES CAN MOVE QUICKLY AND CAUSE
INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(5) Use the STAB TRIM ALTN switches to move the stabilizer until the "B" dimension is 17.59-17.63 inches (446.8-447.8 millimeters).
NOTE: The "B" dimension is the distance along the ballscrew between
____ the surfaces of the ballnut and the ballscrew stops

Set the STAB TRIM 3 switch to CUTOUT.

If the hydraulic power is not necessary, do this task: "Remove Hydraulic Power" (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Adjust the transmitter control rod:
(a)
Loosen the jamnut at the two ends of the applicable transmitter control rod.
(b)
Adjust the control rod until the applicable indication on the EICAS flight controls maintenance page shows 4.49-4.51 degrees down.
(c)
Tighten the jamnut at the two ends of the control rod.
(d)
Make sure the EICAS indication is still in the tolerance.
(11)
Seal the joint and the two ends of the fastener with sealant.
