INBOARD FLAP - INSPECTION/CHECK

1. General
_______
A. The inboard flap inspection procedures are in this section. The procedures contain the data necessary to do a check of the midflap tracks, bearings, and rollers. It also has the data necessary to do a check of the pivot points of the aftflap arms in the midflap.
B. The check measures the inner and/or outer diameters of the bushings, bearings, rollers and arms. The height and width of the midflap track are also measured.
C. To do the check, the inboard flaps must be removed from the airplane. The aftflap must be removed from the midflap. The check is usually done before the inboard flap is installed.
