Remove the foreflap (Ref 27-51-05/401).

Examine the parts, which connect the foreflap, for worn areas:
(a)
Remove the parts.
(b)
Measure the parts.
NOTE: Use a micrometer or a vernier caliper.

(c)
Compare the dimensions you measured, with the permitted dimensions shown in Fig. 601.
(d)
Replace the parts that are out of the tolerance.
(e)
Install the parts.
(3)
Install the foreflap (Ref 27-51-05/401).
