Install the crossbolts, with the washers and the self-locking nuts to install the crank. 1) Make sure you install the crank with the spur directed as
shown on Fig. 202. 2) If it is necessary, use the shaft washer to decrease the axial play to less than 0.016 inch (0.41 millimeter).
(e)
Install the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the cotter pins to install the two link rods.
(f)
Tighten the nuts to 20-25 pound-inches (2.3-2.8 newton-meters). 1) If it is necessary to install the cotter pin, loosen the nut to the next slot.
2) Use the bell washers at the two ends of the mast-to-crank control rod.
(g)
Adjust the links with the drain holes pointed down.
(3)
Set the STAB TRIM 2 and 3 switches to ON.
