 WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
 FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP
 CONTROL LEVER.  WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL
 MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP

 CONTROL LEVER.
 (1)  
Put the flap control lever in the 30-unit detent to extend the flaps.

 (a)  
Make sure that the ball screw nuts do not touch the downstops.

Put the flap control lever in the UP detent to retract the flaps.

 (a)  
Make sure that the ball screw nuts do not touch the upstops.

 (3)  Do a test of the hydraulic operation time for the trailing edge flaps.
 NOTE: A minimum of 35 gpm for the inboard flap power package and 25
____ gpm for the outboard flap power package is necessary.

Make sure that hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4 are pressurized.

Move flap control lever from the UP detent to the 30-unit detent.

 (c)  
Make sure that the time for the flaps to extend to the 30-unit position is 40 to 55 seconds.

 (d)  
Make sure that the time difference between the inboard and outboard flaps is not more than 10 seconds.

 (e)  
Move the flap control lever from the 30-unit detent to the UP detent.

 (f)  
Make sure that the time necessary for the flaps to retract is 40 to 55 seconds.

 (g)  
Make sure that the time difference between the inboard and outboard flaps is not more than 10 seconds.
