(1)
Install the filter element (Fig. 401).
(a)
Lubricate the O-rings with hydraulic fluid.
(b)
Install the O-rings on the filter element.
(c)
Put the filter element in the filter element housing.
(d)
Install the filter element housing on the filter module. 1) Install the lockwire.
(e)
Make sure that the O-rings engage smoothly.

Connect the hydraulic line H1 (Fig. 401).

Fill the hydraulic reservoir (AMM 12-12-01/301).

Use the STAB TRIM ALTN on the control stand to set the stabilizer to the neutral rig position (3 units of trim).
(8)
Examine the filter module for a hydraulic leak.
(9)
Set the STAB TRIM 2 and 3 switches to NORM.

A. The stabilizer trim indicating system provides visual indication on the flight deck of the position of the horizontal stabilizer. Units of stabilizer trim appear on the two stabilizer trim indicators located on either side of the P8 control stand.
