WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Remove the Inboard Drive Motor

(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (11) from the drive motor (12) (Fig. 401).

(2)
Remove the drive motor:
(a)
Remove the bolts (9, 10 and 14), washers (8), and the nut (13) which attach the drive motor (12) to the flap power package.
(b)
Remove the alternate drive motor from the flap power package.
(c)
Remove the adapter plate if installed.
NOTE: If the replacement motor is the same as the motor that
____ you removed, it is not necessary to remove the adapter plate.
(d) Put a cover on the opening in the power package.
