Remove the torque tube from the airplane, if it is necessary to get access (AMM 27-51-20/401).

Repair the defects to a minimum blend radius of 1.00 inch (2.54 cm).


 NOTE: The surface finish of the area must be 63 microinch

 (1.6 microns) or better. The permitted defect depth must be in the limit shown in the table. If there are two or more defects, they must be a minimum of 1-1/2 times the diameter of the torque tube apart.
