Install the rig pin through the crank and the housing for the RVDT assembly.

Supply a 26 VAC 400HZ voltage across pins 1 and 2 on one of the three electrical connectors on the RVDT assembly.


 NOTE: You can use a jumper wire from pin No. 1 and 2 at the RVDT to
____ pin No. 1 and 2 on the airplane-side RVDT connector.

 (4)  
Connect a multimeter across pins 3 and 5 to measure the output voltage of the RVDT.

 (5)
Make sure the output voltage of the RVDT is -100mV to +100mV.

 (6)  
If the output voltage is not in the tolerance, adjust the RVDT assembly:

 (a)  
Loosen the four screws on the RVDT assembly.

 (b)  
Use the adjustment screw on the RVDT assembly to adjust the output voltage until it is in the tolerance.

 (c)  
Tighten the four screws.

 (d) (e)  Install the lockwire on the four screws.Make sure the output voltage stays in the tolerance.
 (7)  S 085-008Remove the multimeter from the RVDT assembly.
 (8)  S 865-009Remove the voltage source from the RVDT assembly.
 (9)  S 085-010Remove the rig pin.

 FLAP CONTROL LEVER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of the flap control lever. The procedure has these parts:
 (1)  
The removal of the right cover from the pilot's control stand.

 (2)  
The removal of the flap control lever

 (3)  
The installation of the flap control lever

 (4)  
A test of the flap control lever.
