(e) Push the ALTN FLAPS ARM switch to disarm the alternate flap control.

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

P6, Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6L19, TE FLAP ELEC CONT OTBD
(b)
P415, Power Distribution Center-Right 1) 415M38, TE FLAP ELEC OTBD
(3)
Make sure that the landing gear ground locks are installed.

Remove the Outboard Drive Motor

Disconnect the electrical connector (6) from the drive motor (5).

Remove the outboard drive motor:
(a)
Remove the bolts (2, 3, and 7), washers (1), and the nut (4) which attach the drive motor to the flap power package.
(b)
Remove the drive motor from the power package.
(c)
Put a cover on the opening in the power package.
