Do the operation test of the stabilizer trim indicating system:

 (a)  
Hold the STAB TRIM ALTN switches on the control stand to APL NOSE UP until the stabilizer stops. 1) Make sure the two stabilizer trim indicators on the control

 stand show 14.50-15.00 units of trim.

 (b)  
Hold the STAB TRIM ALTN switches to APL NOSE DN until the stabilizer stops. 1) Make sure the two stabilizer trim indicators on the control

 stand show 0.00-0.50 units of trim.

 (c)  
Hold the STAB TRIM ALTN switches to APL NOSE UP until the stabilizer position indicators show 2.9-3.1 units of trim.

If the hydraulic power is not necessary, do this task: "Remove Hydraulic Power" (Ref 29-11-00/201).

Do the Stabilizer Greenband Indication Operational Test

 (1)
Do a test for the greenband indication with the airplane nose up:

 (a)  
Make sure that you align one of the IRUs in the attitude or navigation mode.

 (b)  
Make sure that you close these circuit breakers on the P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel: 1) 7A11, L AIR DATA CMPTR 2) 7A14, R AIR DATA CMPTR

 (c)  
Push the INIT REF key on the FMC CDU.

 (d)  
Push the key for <INDEX from the page that shows on the CDU.

 (e)  
Push the key for <PERF on the INIT/REF INDEX page.

 (f)  
Put an initial value of 0 (zero) in the PERF INIT page for FUEL.

 (g)  
Put a value of 575.0 (for pounds) or 260.8 (for kgs) in the PERF INIT page for GR WT.

 (h)  
Push the key for <INDEX.

 (i)  
Push the key for <TAKEOFF on the INIT/REF INDEX page.

 (j)  
Put a value of 10 in the TAKEOFF REF page for CG.

 (k)  
ON AIRPLANES WITH THE MID LIGHT; make sure that the NOSE UP and MID lights on the stabilizer trim indicators come on.

 (l)  
ON AIRPLANES WITHOUT THE MID LIGHT; make sure that the NOSE UP lights on the stabilizer trim indicators come on.

Do a test for the greenband indication with the airplane nose down:

 (a)  
Push the key for <INDEX.

 (b)  
Push the key for <TAKEOFF on the INIT/REF INDEX page.

Put a value of 32 in the TAKEOFF REF page for CG.

 (d)  
ON AIRPLANES WITH THE MID LIGHT; make sure that the NOSE DN and MID lights on the stabilizer trim indicators come on.

 (e)  
ON AIRPLANES WITHOUT THE MID LIGHT; make sure that the NOSE DN lights on the stabilizer trim indicators come on.

Do this task: "Supply Hydraulic Power" (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

 (a)  
P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel 1) 7E7, STAB TRIM L S/O VALVE 2) 7E6, STAB TRIM L CONT 3) 7E19, STAB TRIM R CONT
