Connect the foreflap sequence carriage (Fig. 401).

 (a)  
On each midflap support carriage, remove the bolts (2), washers (3), and nuts (6) from the links which hold the forward end of the foreflap cam tracks (4). Let the cam tracks move down to the main carriage.


 NOTE: With the cam tracks moved down the sequence carriage can

 to go through.

 (b)  Move the foreflap sequence carriage aft and engage the toggle roller into the flap track detent.

 (c)  Assemble the links, bolts and nuts at the forward end of the foreflap cam tracks.
 NOTE: Make sure that the bushing (5) is in the correct
____
 position.

 (d)  
Tighten the nut to 95-110 pound-inches (11-12 N-m).

 (e)  
Install the cotter pin.

Install the outboard foreflap (Ref 27-51-05/401).

 Install the two bolts (8 and 10) through the aft end of the flap track (Fig. 401):

 (a)  
Clean paint from the attach fitting bolt holes and bolts, if they will be used.

 (b)  
Install the bolts and washers (9 and 11) with the wet primer.

 (c)  
Tighten the forward bolt to 125-155 pound-inches (14-17.5 N-m).

 (d)  
Tighten the aft bolt to 170-210 pound-inches (19-24 N-m).

 Install the fixed and movable links of the flap track fairing on the aft end of the flap track (Ref 27-51-45/401).

 Adjust the outboard flaps (Ref 27-51-04/501).


 NOTE: The outboard movable flap track fairings are installed during

 the flap adjustment.

 Lubricate the flaps (AMM 12-21-20/301).

Put The Airplane Back To Its Usual Condition.

Remove the spoiler actuator locking tools or move the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER switches to NORM for systems No. 2 and 3.

Pressurize hydraulic systems No. 2, 3, and 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

 WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
 FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP
 CONTROL LEVER.  WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER WITH THE
 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PRESSURIZED, THE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE
 MECHANISMS WILL MOVE QUICKLY.  PERSONNEL CAN BE INJURED OR

 EQUIPMENT DAMAGED.
 (3)  
Put the flap control lever in the UP detent to retract the flaps.

Put the speed brake control lever in the DOWN detent to lower spoilers No. 1-4 and 9-12 above the outboard flaps.

 (5)  
Release the pressure in hydraulic systems No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

 (a)  
P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel 1) 7G6, SPEED BRAKE AUTO CONT
