Disconnect the hydraulic lines (3) and the case drain (2) from the drive motor.
(a)
Install plugs in all of the hydraulic lines and caps in all of the ports on the drive motors.

(3) Remove the drive motor:
CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT HIT THE EXTERNAL SHAFT WHEN YOU
_______ REMOVE THE DRIVE MOTOR. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SHAFT SEAL AND CAUSE THE MOTOR TO LEAK.
(a)
Remove the bolts (10 and 13), washers (11), and nuts (12) which attach the drive motor (9) to the flap power package.
(b)
Remove the drive motor from the airplane.
(c)
Put a cover on the opening in the power package to prevent contamination.
