WARNING: CAREFULLY DO THE SPECIFIED TASK TO INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS FOR
_______ THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Install the door locks on the doors for the body landing gear (Ref 32-00-30/201).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.

Put the flap control lever in the 30-unit detent to extend the flaps.

Release the pressure in hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4 (Ref 29-11-00/201).

Remove A Flap Angle Gearbox

(1)
Disconnect the torque tube ends on the two sides of the angle gearbox.
(a)
Remove the three screws which connect the coupling sleeve to the torque tube.
(b)
Move the coupling sleeve to the gearbox.

(2) Remove the bolts and remove the gearbox from the airplane.
NOTE: If you will install the same gearbox, keep and identify,
____ or measure the thickness of the shims on the bolts. This will be necessary when you install the gearbox.
