Lift the thrust reverser half slowly and position the thrust reverser half approximately one-eighth open.

Align the forward and center fittings on the thrust reverser, NAC STA 206.5 and NAC STA 224.0, (Views C and D, Fig. 402) with the fittings on the strut.

Align the V-groove on the torque box of the thrust reverser with the outer V-blade fitting on the extension ring of the fan frame.
(a) Make sure that the V-blade fitting engage correctly with the
mating surface on the thrust reverser.
