3) On the flight deck, do a check of the condition of these lights: a) On the center instrument panel, make sure the No. 1(2)
REVERSER UNLOCK light goes off. b) On the aft overhead panel, make sure that the No. 1(2) REVERSER light remains on. 4) On the EAU, do a check of the condition of these lights:
a) AIRPLANES WITH THE TWO LIGHT ENGINE ACCESSORY UNIT; Make sure the No. 1(2) THRUST REVERSER FAIL light remains on.
b) AIRPLANES WITH A SIX LIGHT ENGINE ACCESSORY UNIT; Make sure the No. 1(2) SLEEVE DISAGREE, VALVE DISAGREE, and RESTOW lights remain on.
c) AIRPLANES WITH THE SIXTEEN LIGHT ENGINE ACCESSORY UNIT; Make sure the No. 1(2) SLEEVE DISAGREE, RESTOW, ISO VLV OPEN, S831 NOT STOW and S835 NOT STOW lights remain on.
(i) Slowly move the No. 1(2) reverse thrust lever up and aft to deploy the reverser. 1) On the EAU, do a check of the condition of these lights: a) AIRPLANES WITH TWO LIGHT ENGINE ACCESSORY UNIT; Make sure the No. 1(2) THRUST REVERSER FAIL light remains on. b) AIRPLANES WITH SIX LIGHT ENGINE ACCESSORY UNIT; Make sure the VALVE DISAGREE light goes off, and the No. 1(2) SLEEVE DISAGREE and RESTOW lights remain on.
c) AIRPLANES WITH THE SIXTEEN LIGHT ENGINE ACCESSORY UNIT; Make sure the No. 1(2) SLEEVE DISAGREE, RESTOW, ISO VLV OPEN, S831 NOT STOW and S835 NOT STOW lights remain on.
(j) Press the No. 1(2) T/R reset switch on the EAU for at least 2 seconds. 1) On the flight deck, do a check of the condition of these lights: a) On the aft overhead panel, make sure the No. 1(2) REVERSER light goes off. b) On the glare shield, make sure that the MASTER CAUTION and the ENG lights go off. 2) On the EAU, do a check of the condition of these lights: a) AIRPLANES WITH THE TWO LIGHT ENGINE ACCESSORY UNIT; Make sure the No. 1(2) THRUST REVERSER FAIL light goes off. b) AIRPLANES WITH THE SIX LIGHT ENGINE ACCESSORY UNIT; Make sure the No. 1(2) SLEEVE DISAGREE light goes off and the No. 1(2) RESTOW light remains on.
c) AIRPLANES WITH THE SIXTEEN LIGHT ENGINE ACCESSORY UNIT; Make sure the No. 1(2) SLEEVE DISAGREE, ISO VLV OPEN, S831 NOT STOW, and S835 NOT STOW go off, and the No. 1(2) RESTOW light remains on.
(k) Move the No. 1(2) reverse thrust lever forward and down to stow the reverser.

Wait approximately 15 seconds, then do a check of the condition of these lights on the EAU: 1) AIRPLANES WITH THE TWO LIGHT ENGINE ACCESSORY UNIT;
Make sure the No. 1(2) THRUST REVERSER FAIL remains off.
2) AIRPLANES WITH THE SIX LIGHT ENGINE ACCESSORY UNIT;
Make sure the No. 1(2) RESTOW light goes off.
3) AIRPLANES WITH THE SIXTEEN LIGHT ENGINE ACCESSORY UNIT;
Make sure No. 1(2) RESTOW light goes off.

Wait at least 2 minutes, then move the manual shutoff valve lever to the shutoff position and install the C78004-2 lockpin for the No. 1(2) thrust reverser control valve module (AMM 78-31-00/201).
CAUTION: DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION BAR OR OTHER TOOLS TO MOVE THE
_______ UNLOCK HANDLE. IF YOU USE AN EXTENSION BAR OR OTHER TOOLS, DAMAGE TO THE UNLOCK HANDLE OR ACTUATOR CAN OCCUR.
(n) Pull the manual unlock handle forward on the upper actuator, then release the handle. 1) Make sure the left reverser half does not extend more than
0.08 inch (2.03 mm).
2) On the flight deck, do a check of the condition of these lights: a) On the center instrument panel, make sure the No.1(2)
REVERSER UNLOCK light remains off. 3) On the aft overhead panel, make sure the No.1(2) REVERSER light remains off.
(o) Remove the C78004-2 lockpin from the No.1(2) control valve module for the thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201). 1) Make sure the manual shutoff valve lever returns to the
