(d) Remove the sleeve (if it is installed) from each sensor.
NOTE: If the sleeve is not easy to remove, let the sleeve
____ assembly warm to a maximum temperature of 200°F (95°C). You can also put methylene chloride or Zipstrip between the sleeve assembly and the proximity switch to dissolve the loctite.
(e)
Remove the jamnut and washer from the aft side of each sensor.
(f)
Remove the sensors from the torque box.
(g)
Keep the sleeves (if they were installed), washers and jamnuts for the replacement sensors.

(5) Do these steps to remove the deploy proximity sensor
NOTE: If you replace all the proximity sensors, do not do the steps
____ that remove the wire leads from the connector. You only need to remove the deploy proximity sensor from the mounting bracket.
(a)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the strut bracket. 1) For the left thrust reverser, disconnect the electrical connector D5114P from the strut bracket.
2) For the right thrust reverser, disconnect the electrical connector D5116P from the strut bracket.
(b)
Remove the clamps that keep the wire bundle in position.
