Do the test of the indicator lights as follows:
(a) Put the LIGHTS switch on the pilots' center instrument panel to the TEST position. 1) Make sure that the lights come on as follows:
a) The two REVERSER UNLOCKED lights on the pilots' center
instrument panel b) The two REVERSER lights on the aft overhead panel c) The left and right MASTER CAUTION lights on the
lightshield d) The ENG light on the system annunciator on the lightshield
(b) Put the LIGHTS switch to the DIM position. 1) Make sure that the lights that came on go out.

If not already done, do the paragraph: Prepare for the System Tests.

Make sure that all lights on the engine accessory unit (EAU) are off.

Slowly move the engine No. 1(2) reverse thrust lever up and aft to the extended position.
NOTE: Do not move the thrust reverser through cycles too
____ quickly. The hydraulic fuses can set if the time between cycles is less than 10 seconds. If necessary, reset the fuse(s) to their initial condition. To do this, remove the pressure from the applicable hydraulic system.
No. 1(2) reverser light will come on momentarily when you move the thrust lever.
(a)
Make sure that the reverser sleeves on engine No. 1(2) move to the fully extended position in 2 seconds with the external hydraulic power source, or in 3 seconds with the airplane electric motor pumps.
(b)
Make sure that the No. 1(2) REVERSER UNLOCKED light on the center instrument panel comes on.
(c)
Make sure that the No. 1(2) REVERSER light on the aft overhead panel remains off.

(4) Move the reverse thrust lever for engine No. 1(2) forward and down to retract the thrust reversers.
(a)
Make sure that the sleeves on the engine No. 1(2) reverser fully retracts in 4 seconds with the external hydraulic power source, or in 5 seconds if the airplane electric motor pumps are used.
(b)
Make sure that the No. 1(2) REVERSER light on the aft overhead panel comes on for approximately 10 seconds and then goes off.
(c)
Make sure that the MASTER CAUTION lights on the light shield remain off.
(d)
Make sure that the No. 1(2) REVERSER UNLOCKED light goes off.
