 Do a check that the applicable reverse thrust lever is in the stow position.

 Unlock the sync lock:

 (a)
Move the No. 1(2) reverse thrust lever to the extend position.

 (b)
Move the No. 1(2) reverse thrust lever to the retract position.

 


 NOTE: You must do the next step in less than 90 seconds
____ after you move the reverse thrust lever to the retract position. If you do not, the sync lock will lock and prevent the movement of the sleeve.

ROTARY FLEX SHAFTS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure gives the steps to remove and install the two rotary flex shafts on the thrust reverser halves.
 B.  You must tighten all of the hydraulic connections as follows:
 (1)  
Tighten the connections to 255 pound-inches.

 (2)  
Loosen the connections.

 (3)  
Tighten the connections again to 255 pound-inches.
