Install the lower attach fittings of the sling, C78003, at the tapped holes in the lower bifurcation (View C, Fig. 403).
(g)
Attach the fishpole hoist and pulley block to the sling.
NOTE: Use the upper attach point on the sling if you remove
____ the inboard thrust reverser half. Use the lower attach point on the sling if you remove the outboard thrust reverser half.
(h) Use the fishpole hoist to lift up the sling and attach the
sling to the upper and lower attach fittings.

(25) If the overhead handling equipment for the thrust reverser is to be used, install the equipment as follows (View B and C, Fig. 403):
(a)
Install the upper attach fittings of the thrust reverser sling, C78003, to the bushed clevis fittings on the upper bifurcation of the the thrust reverser (View B, Fig. 403).
(b)
Install the lower attach fittings of the thrust reverser sling, C78003, at the tapped holes of the lower bifurcation (View C, Fig. 403).
(c)
Attach the overhead hoist to the thrust reverser sling, C78003.
NOTE: Use the upper attach point on the sling if you remove
____ the inboard thrust reverser half. Use the lower attach point on the sling if you remove the outboard thrust reverser half.
(d) Use the overhead hoist to lift up the sling and attach the
sling to the upper and lower attach fittings.

Lift the thrust reverser slightly until you can remove the bolts.

Remove the bolt from the forward hinge fitting (View C, Fig. 402).

(28) Remove the bolt from the center hinge fitting (View D, Fig. 402).

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE THRUST REVERSER HALF DOES NOT TOUCH THE ADJACENT
_______ STRUCTURES, EQUIPMENTS AND STANDS. MAKE SURE THE AFT EDGE OF THE THRUST REVERSER HALF DOES NOT TOUCH THE SEAL SEGMENTS OF THE PRIMARY SLEEVE ASSEMBLY. DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.

Slowly move the thrust reverser half away and down from the engine.

Lower the thrust reverser half and attach it to the dolly (or the shipping container).
