(3) Install the cascades on the attach flanges (Fig. 403):
NOTE: The fasteners are different for composite and magnesium
____ cascade segments. Refer to Figure 403 to determine which fasteners to use.
Install composite cascade fasteners with BMS 5-26 or BMS 5-63 sealant.
(a) If the flow blockage fitting touches the adjacent cascade, trim the flow blockage fittings of the composite cascade with 120 to 400 grit sandpaper. The permitted clearance between the flow blockage fitting and the cascade or between the two flow blockage fittings is 0.06 - 0.20 inch (1.5 - 5.0 mm).
1) Make sure there are no broken fibers. 2) Apply BMS8-210 to the trimmed edges of the flow blockage fittings.
NOTE: Allow the BMS 8-201 to cure before installing.

3) If the flow blockage fitting is covered with primer, apply BMS 10-11.
(b)
Install all the screws, bolts and washers loosely.
(c)
Tighten the aft washers and bolts first.
1) Tighten the bolts to 70 - 90 pound-inches
(7.9 - 10.1 N.m).
(d)
Tighten the forward screws last.
1) Tighten the screws to 70 - 90 pound-inches
(7.9 - 10.1 N.m).

Do the activation procedure for the thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).
