equipment bay for air conditioning.

There are two configurations of control valve modules.
(1)
Control valve modules with a hydralic flow restrictor have a restrictor check valve in the stow port of the control valve module.
NOTE: The restrictor tee in the strut has the poppet valves
____ removed and does not restrict flow.
(a) These restrictor check valves were installed on airplanes after line number 2228.
(2) Control valve modules without a hydraulic flow restrictor have a flow restrictor in a restrictor tee located in the strut.
(a) Control valve modules without the restrictor check valve were installed on airplanes before line number 2228.

(1) Do a check that the applicable forward thrust lever is in the idle position and that the reverse thrust lever is fully forward.
(a) Install DO-NOT-OPERATE tags on the levers.

(2) Open these circuit breakers for the applicable engine on the circuit breaker panel P6-2 and attach the DO-NOT-CLOSE identifiers:
(a)

THR REV CONT SYS

(3) Open this circuit breaker on the P6 panel and install a DO-NOT-CLOSE identifier:
(a) ENG NO. 2 THR REV CONT SYS ALTN

Remove hydraulic pressure (AMM 29-15-00/201).

(5)
Open the equipment bay doors for the air conditioning.

(6)
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the valve module.
(a) Install caps on the plugs and receptacles.
