Remove the S650 switch bracket for the speed brake
(AMM 27-62-32/401).

Remove the switch bracket assembly (Fig. 201).
(a)
Remove the lower mounting screw from the lower end of the bracket assembly that you remove.
(b)
Remove the top mounting screw.
(c)
Remove the No. 1 assembly from the control stand.
(d)
Remove the No. 2 assembly from the control stand.
NOTE: You must remove the No. 1 and No. 2 assemblies from the
____ captain's side of the control stand.

(10) Disconnect the electrical leads from the switch.
(a) Mark the locations of the lead connections to the switch terminals.

Remove the switch mounting and the adjustment screws (Fig. 201).

D. Install the Arm and Stow Switches (Fig. 201)

WARNING: DO THE DEACTIVATION PROCEDURE TO PREVENT THE OPERATION OF THE

Do the deactivation procedure for the thrust reverser for ground maintenance (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Install the switch as follows:
(a)
Attach the switch with the mounting screw and the adjustment screw as shown in Figure 201. 1) Do not tighten the screws.
(b)
Put a 0.070 | 0.002 inch (1.78 | 0.05 mm) shim at location A on Figure 201.
NOTE: This pulls the arm on the cam follower away from the
____
forward stop.
