Put the four hinge cross rods through the fire seal structure of the strut.

CAUTION: THE ROD END OF THE HINGE CROSS ROD MUST BE PUT IN THE CORRECT
_______ POSITION. THE TOP EDGE OF THE ROD END BODY IS STRAIGHT AND THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE ROD END BODY IS CURVED TO PROVIDE THE CORRECT CLEARANCE. YOU CAN READ THE PART NUMBER ON THE SIDE OF THE ROD END BODY WHEN IT IS IN THE CORRECT POSITION. IF THE ROD END IS NOT PUT IN THE CORRECT POSITION, DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.

(8) Install one alignment rod through the forward and center strut hinges on one side of the strut.
NOTE: The hinge cross rods are on either side of the strut hinges.
