1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure:
(1)
The engine accessory unit removal
(2)
The engine accessory unit installation.
B.
The engine accessory unit is found in the EE bay on the E3 rack shelf.

CAUTION:_______DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS ON THE M562 EAU. WHEN THE UNIT IS NOT INSTALLED, PROTECT THE CONNECTOR PINS WITH DUST CAPS. IF YOU DO NOT PROTECT THESE CONDUCTORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE M562 ENGINE ACCESSORY UNIT.

(1) For the left engine, open these circuit breakers and attach
DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P6 Load Control Center
1) ENG 1 THR REV CONT SYS
2) ENG 1 THR REV IND SYS

(2) For the right engine, open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P6 Load Control Center 1) ENG 2 THR REV CONT SYS 2) ENG 2 THR REV IND SYS 3) ON AIRPLANES WITH THRUST REVERSER SYNC LOCKS;
ENG 2 THR REV CONT SYS ALTN

Release the latch of the engine accessory unit.

Remove the engine accessory unit (EAU) from the E3 rack shelf (AMM 20-10-07/201).

Do a check that the pins on the accessory unit and the rack
electrical connectors are straight.
S 424-006-C00
(2)
Install the EAU into the E3 rack shelf (AMM 20-10-07/201).
(a) Connect the latch.
S 734-012-C00
(3)
Do the Normal Operation Test (AMM 78-31-00/501).
(4)
Do an Auto-Restow Test (AMM 78-31-00/501).
(5)
Do a Center Tank Fuel Scavenge System Test (AMM 28-15-00/501).
