(e) When the reverser half is fully down, push the reverser halves together, if it is necessary, so the latch hooks can be engaged.
NOTE: You can use the latching tool to help pull the reverser
____ halves togeather (Fig. 203).
(f) Engage the five latches along the bottom centerline of the thrust reverser.

8. Thrust Reverser Sleeve Translation - Power Procedure

A. General
(1) This task will move the two sleeves on one engine at the same time. If it is necessary to move only one of the sleeve, use the manual procedure.

(1) Move the sleeves to the extended position:
(a) Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201). 1) Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the BAT switch.

WARNING: KEEP PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT CLEAR OF THE FLIGHT CONTROL
_______ SURFACES, THE THRUST REVERSER, AND THE LANDING GEAR. THESE COMPONENTS CAN MOVE SUDDENLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(b) Supply hydraulic power (AMM 29-15-00/201).

(2) For the left engine, remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:
(a) P6-2 Load Control Center
1) ENG 1 THR REV CONT SYS

(3) For the right engine, remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:

1) ENG 2 THR REV CONT SYS
2) ENG 2 THR REV CONT SYS - ALTN
(b)
Make sure the fire handle, on the P5 forward overhead panel, is in the usual position for the applicable engine.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO PERSONS, EQUIPMENT, WORK STANDS, OR
_______ OTHER OBJECTS IN THE AREA AFT OF THE THRUST REVERSER SLEEVES. INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR IF A THRUST REVERSER SLEEVE MOVES AND TOUCHES THEM.
CAUTION:_______MAKE SURE THE THRUST REVERSER IS CLOSED AND LATCHED. IF THE THRUST REVERSER IS NOT CLOSED AND LATCHED, AND THE THRUST REVERSER SLEEVE MOVES, DAMAGE TO THE SLEEVE-TO-STRUT FAIRINGS WILL OCCUR.
(c)
Make sure the thrust reverser is closed and latched.
(d)
Slowly move the No. 1(2) reverser thrust lever up and aft to
the extended position.
WARNING: YOU MUST LOCK THE THRUST REVERSER IF THE THRUST REVERSER
_______
SLEEVES WILL NOT BE IMMEDIATELY MOVED TO THE RETRACTED
POSITION. ACCIDENTAL MOVEMENT OF THE THRUST REVERSER
SLEEVES TO THE RETRACTED POSITION CAN CAUSE INJURY TO
PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(e) If the sleeves will not be immediately moved to the retracted position, do this task: Thrust Reverser Deactivation for Ground Maintenance.

(4) Move the sleeves to the retracted position:
