(d)  If the reverse thrust switches S824 thru S827 need to be adjusted, refer to the paragraph below:

 (11) With the reverse thrust lever in the retracted position, make sure that the switch actuator (roller) does not touch the bottom of the switch body:
 (a)  Make sure that the switch plunger can be seen.

 (12) For switches that need adjustment, do the steps that follow:
 (a)  If not already done, do the steps that follow to get access to the switch adjustment screws: 1) Remove the crew seats (AMM 25-11-11/201). 2) Remove the tie rod nut from the left stabilizer trim wheel
 (Fig. 201). a) Remove the trim wheel. 3) Pull the right stabilizer trim wheel, together with the tie rod, from the right side of the control stand. 4) Remove the upper mechanism doors. a) Disconnect the lightplate electrical connections while
 you remove the doors. b) Put a tag on the connections for easier installation. c) Prevent the lightplates from possible damage.
 5) Remove the lower doors from the control stand. 6) Remove the control lever bracket for stabilizer trim.
 (b)  
Move the related forward thrust lever to the idle position.

 (c)  
Move the reverse thrust lever to 30 to 39 degrees RLA.

 (d)  
Use the adjustment screw slots in the bracket to adjust the switches to the deactuated position (Fig. 201).

 CAUTION:_______TIGHTEN THE SCREWS JUST BEYOND FINGER-TIGHT. LACK OF ACCESS PREVENTS THE USE OF A TORQUE WRENCH. IF YOU TIGHTEN THE SCREWS TOO MUCH, DAMAGE TO THE SWITCHES OR INCORRECT SWITCH OPERATION CAN OCCUR.

 (e)  
Tighten the switch mounting and adjustment screws.

(f) Do a check of the switch operation as follows:
 NOTE: Use one of the two methods to do the continuity checks:
____ Method 1: Connect the ohmmeter to the applicable receptacles in the lower nose compartment.
 Method 2: Use a locally fabricated test cable, with one end connected to the receptacle in the lower nose compartment. Route the other end up through the control stand and into the crew compartment. Use the ohmmeter at the upper end of the test cable adjacent to the thrust levers.
 1)  Move the reverse thrust lever to the aft limit of travel (135 degrees RLA).
 NOTE: The ohmmeter values must be same as when the
____ reverse thrust lever was at the 40 degree RLA position.
 2) Move the reverse thrust lever to the retracted position.
 NOTE: The ohmmeter values must be same as before when
____ the reverse thrust lever was in the retracted position.
 3) Move the related forward thrust lever through full travel. a) Retract the feedback push-pull cables to permit the full travel of the thrust levers (Fig. 202). b) When you move each lever, verify continuity across the pairs of pins as follows:

4) Move the forward thrust lever to the idle position. 5) Move the reverse thrust lever to 29 degrees RLA. a) The ohmmeter values must be same as above when you moved the forward thrust lever through full travel. 6) Move the reverse thrust lever to the 40 degrees RLA position.
 NOTE: The ohmmeter values must be same as before when
____ the reverse thrust lever was at the 40 degree RLA position.
 7)  Move the reverse thrust lever slowly to the retracted position and monitor the switch plunger (not the actuator). a) Make sure that the plunger travel before the switch
