Make sure the adjustment of the engine control system is correct
 (AMM 76-11-00/501).

Put the applicable forward thrust lever and reverse thrust lever in
 the idle stop position and hold the levers in this position during
 the next check.

Check the rig pin 1 (F70207-23) can be inserted freely in the torque switch mechanism of the autothrottle.

If the rig pin cannot be inserted freely refer to cable rigging
