 E. Locking Actuator Buildup (Fig. 402)

 (1)  If necessary, buildup a basic locking actuator into a left half (LH) locking actuator or into a right half (RH) locking actuator.
 (a)  
The differences between a LH locking actuator and a RH locking actuator are the leaf spring part numbers and the installed position of the fitting [190], the leaf spring, and the bellcrank assembly [125].

 (b)  
When you are finished with the buildup, the basic locking actuator part number will be changed to a new part number for either the left half (LH) or the right half (RH). 1) Basic locking actuator part number 315A1801-13 becomes:


 315A1801-14 LH
 315A1801-15 RH

 2) Basic locking actuator part number 315A1801-17 becomes: 315A1801-18 LH 315A1801-19 RH
 3) Basic locking actuator part number 315A1801-21 becomes: 315A1801-22 LH 315A1801-23 RH
 4)  Basic locking actuator part number 315A1801-25 becomes: 315A1801-26 LH 315A1801-27 RH
 (c)  
Install the rod [65] and the bushing [60] in the appropriate end of the bellcrank assembly [125].

 (d)  
Install the bolt [45A], washers [50], and collar [55].

 (e)  
Install the bushings [30, 40] in the clevis end of the actuator [195].

 (f)  
Position the flange of the bushing [40] inside the clevis, and position the flange of the bushing [30] outside the clevis.

 (g)  
Install the fitting [190] on the actuator [195] with the screws

 [180] and washers [185].

 (h)  
Tighten the screws [180] to 27-33 pound inches.


 NOTE: Do not install lockwire at this time.

 (i) Temporarily install the bellcrank assembly [125] on the fitting
 [190] with the bolt [105], washers [110], and bushing [120].
 NOTE: Do not install the collar [115].
