(2)  S 014-014-C00If you need to remove the top drag link, then do the steps that follow: (a) Remove the forward segment of the sleeve-to-strut fairing. (b) Remove the fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/201).
 (3)  S 864-016-C00If you do not need to remove the top drag link, open the applicable fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/201).

 WARNING: OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE PROCEDURE TO OPEN THE THRUST
_______ REVERSERS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS, INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
 (4)  Open the thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).

 CAUTION:_______DO NOT FULLY EXTEND THE THRUST REVERSER. EXTEND THE THRUST REVERSER ENOUGH TO DISCONNECT THE DRAG LINK FROM THE PIVOT LINK IN THE BLOCKER DOOR. IF YOU EXTEND THE THRUST REVERSER FULLY WITH THE THRUST REVERSER OPEN, THE THRUST REVERSER SLEEVE CAN TOUCH THE WING ON THE INBOARD SIDE OF THE ENGINE.
 (5)  Manually extend the thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).
 (a)  Partly extend the thrust reverser, until you get access to the bolt that connects the drag link to the pivot link.

 CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE A MINIMUM OF 3 EVENLY-SPACED CASCADE
