Connect the ohmmeter to pins 5 and 7 on connector P2.
(a)
Make sure the reverse thrust lever is 32 to 34 degrees aft from the reverser stowed position.
(b)
If there is now continuity with the reverse thrust lever at the specified position, turn the S5 adjustment bolt clockwise until there is continuity between pins 5 and 7.
(8)
Move the reverse thrust lever to the stowed position.
(9)
Make sure there is no continuity between pins 5 and 7.
(10)
Remove the ohmmeter from pins 5 and 7.
(11)
Tighten the jamnuts to 15-25 inch-pounds.
(12)
Apply inspection seal to jamnuts.

1. General
_______
A. This procedure gives maintenance practices for the arm switches (S824 and S826) and the stow switches (S825 and S827) for the thrust reverser which are installed in the control stand.
B. This procedure has 3 tasks as follows:
(1)
Switch Removal.
(2)
Switch Installation.
(3)
Switch Adjustment.
C.
The arm and stow switches for each engine are installed in a bracket assembly below and forward of the thrust drum for engine control.

Do the deactivation procedure for the thrust reverser for ground maintenance (AMM 78-31-00/201).
(2)
Remove the crew seats (AMM 25-11-11/201).
