 B. Procedure

 WARNING:  BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE LOCKPIN C78004-2 PIN FROM THE CONTROL VALVE MODULE FOR THE THRUST REVERSER, MAKE SURE THE THRUST REVERSER SLEEVES ARE IN THE CORRECT POSITION.
 IF THE THRUST REVERSER SLEEVES ARE IN THE STOWED POSITION, THE REVERSE THRUST LEVER MUST BE FULLY FORWARD. IF THE THRUST REVERSER SLEEVES ARE IN THE DEPLOYED POSITION, THE REVERSE THRUST LEVER MUST NOT BE IN THE STOWED POSITION.
 IF THE POSITION OF THE REVERSE THRUST LEVER DOES NOT AGREE WITH THE POSITION OF THE THRUST REVERSER SLEEVES, THE THRUST REVERSER SLEEVES COULD MOVE WHEN THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM IS ACTIVIATED. THIS COULD CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (1)  Remove the lockpin C78004-2 from the manual shutoff valve lever on the control valve module (Fig. 201).
 (a)  Make sure the manual shutoff valve lever moves to the vertical position.

 (2)  For the left engine, remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:
 (a)  P6-2 Load Control Center
 1) ENG 1 THR REV CONT

 (3)  For the right engine, remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:
 (a)  P6-2 Load Control Center
 1) ENG 2 THR REV CONT

Close the access panel for the air conditioning.

Add pressure to the A and B Hydraulic Systems (AMM 29-15-00/201).

Deploy both the No. 1 and No. 2 thrust reversers.

Press and release the No. 1 and No. 2 RESET switches on the Engine Accessory Unit.

Stow the No. 1 and No. 2 thrust reversers.

After approximately 15 seconds, make sure the REVERSER lights are not on after the reverse thrust levers are moved to the stowed position.

 Remove pressure from the A and B hydraulic systems (AMM 29-15-00/201).

 Restore the airplane to its normal condition.
