Put the remaining shims on the aft side of the target bracket below the nut.
(g)
Do the procedure to power retract the reverser sleeves (AMM 78-31-00/201).
E. Adjust the deploy proximity sensor:
S 825-025-C00
(1) Adjust the gap between the deploy proximity sensor and the target (Fig. 501).
(a)
Put the thrust reverser to deploy position manually.
(b)
Measure the gap between the head of the deploy sensor and the target.
-The permitted gap is 0.035 - 0.055 inch (0.89 - 1.4 mm).
(c)
If the gap is not correct,
-Loosen the two screws that attach the mounting bracket to the actuator.
-Adjust the position of the bracket to get the correct gap between the head of the deploy sensor and the target.
-Tighten the two screws.
(d)
Do the procedure to power retract the reverser sleeves (AMM 78-31-00/201).
