 (13) Move the engine No. 1(2) reverse thrust lever forward and down to the retracted position.
 (a)  AIRPLANES WITH THE SIXTEEN LIGHT ENGINE ACCESSORY UNIT; Press and release the No. 1(2) reset switch. 1) Make sure that all the lights on the sixteen light engine
 accessory unit are off.

 Do the Valve Disagreement Test for the engine No. 2 thrust reverser with the ENG 2 circuit breakers and monitor the lights for engine No. 2.

Make sure that the lockpins C78004-2 are removed from both control valve modules for the thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).

 (2)  
Make sure that the forward thrust levers are at the idle position.

 (3)  
Make sure that the reverse thrust levers are fully forward and down.

 (4)  
Remove electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).


 (a)  Set the BAT switch on the Electrical Meters Battery and Galley Power Module (P5-13) to the OFF position and install a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag.

Remove hydraulic power (AMM 29-15-00/201).

Make sure airplane is in ground mode.

 1.  General

 A.  This procedure is a scheduled maintenance task and gives instructions to do a visual inspection of the thrust reverser components that follow:
 -Thrust reverser actuators
 -Cascades
 -Blocker doors and attaching drag links
 -Translating sleeve
 -Track liners and sliders
 -Inner and outer ducts
 -Fire seals in upper bifurcation area
 -Bull nose seal and fairing.

 2.  Thrust Reverser System Inspection

 A.  Equipment
 (1)  
Rig Pin Assembly - F70207-8; MS20392-4C pins
 (or equivalent 0.311 +0.000/-0.002-inch
 diameter, 3-inch long rod or bolt)


 (2)  
Mirror, Inspection (approximately 6 inches (150 mm) square or round)

 (3)  
Flashlight

 (4)  
Rod, Extension (approximately 3 feet long to hold the mirror)
