Wait at least 2 minutes, then move the manual shutoff valve lever to the shutoff position and install the C78004-2 lockpin for the No. 1(2) thrust reverser control valve module (AMM 78-31-00/201).
CAUTION: DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION BAR OR OTHER TOOLS TO MOVE THE
_______ UNLOCK HANDLE. IF YOU USE AN EXTENSION BAR OR OTHER TOOLS, DAMAGE TO THE UNLOCK HANDLE OR ACTUATOR CAN OCCUR.
(n) Pull the manual unlock handle forward on the upper actuator, then release the handle. 1) Make sure the right reverser half does not extend more than
0.08 inch (2.03 mm).
2) On the flight deck, do a check of the condition of these lights: a) On the center instrument panel, make sure the No.1(2)
REVERSER UNLOCK light remains off. b) On the aft overhead panel, make sure the No.1(2) REVERSER light remains off.
(o) Remove the C78004-2 lockpin from the No.1(2) control valve module for the thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201). 1) Make sure the manual shutoff valve lever returns to the
vertical position after you remove the lockpin.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE
_______ AREA AFT OF THE APLICABLE THRUST REVERSER. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS, INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
(p)
Slowly move the No.1(2) reverse thrust lever up and aft to the extended position to deploy the reverser.
(q)
Move the No.1(2) reverse thrust lever down to the stow position to stow the reverser.

(r) Make sure these lights are off: 1) On the EAU: a) Make sure all the lights on the EAU are off. 2) On the flight deck: a) Make sure the MASTER CAUTION, REVERSER, REVERSER UNLOCK, and ENG lights are off.
3) If any of these lights are on, do the applicable trouble-shooting procedure (AMM 71-00-50/101).
