E. Adjust the feedback push-pull cable.
S 012-012-C00
(1)
Remove the access panel 6301L (6401R) (AMM 12-31-71/201).
S 012-013-C00
(2)
Remove the applicable fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/401).
S 862-014-C00
(3)
Make sure that the reverse thrust levers are fully forward.
S 822-015-C00
(4)
Do these steps to adjust the cable (Fig. 201 and 202):
(a)
At the upper actuator on the thrust reverser, do these steps: 1) Install the F70207-8 rig pin freely through the feedback lever and bracket.
2) If you cannot freely install the rig pin, do the adjustment procedure for the actuator (AMM 78-31-03/501).
(b)
At the strut drum control box, do these steps:
1) Install the F70207-29 rig pin through the T/R STOWED hole and into the two feedback cams in the housing.
NOTE: It will be necessary to apply a push force to the
____ disconnected rod end of the push-pull cable at the upper actuator to get the cams to line-up with the T/R STOWED hole. The cams are spring loaded to stop wear due to vibration.
(c) Adjust the rod end of the push-pull cable so that the bolt connecting the rod end of the push-pull cable to the feedback bellcrank can be freely inserted. 1) Make sure that the rod end threads close a minimum of 50
percent of the witness hole.
2) If the rod end adjustment is not sufficient, do these steps: a) Adjust the jamnuts to move the cable casing in relation
to the cable support bracket (on the torque box of the thrust reverser).
(d)
Remove the rig pins.
(e)
Install the seal in the rig pin hole on the strut drum control box.
(f)
Connect the cable to the bellcrank on the upper actuator.

(g)
Tighten all nuts and install the lockwire on the jamnuts if it was disturbed.
(h)
Make sure that the cable casing is in the neutral (neither
under tension nor compression) condition in relation to the
penetration fitting (View B).
1) When you are sure, apply the sealant around the casing,
where it comes through the fitting. 2) Apply the sealant from within the strut structure.
S 412-016-C00
(5) Install these strut access doors on the strut (AMM 12-31-91/201):
