 Do the Normal Operation Test (AMM 78-31-00/501).


 (a)  Do a check for hydraulic leaks.
 (b)  Operate the reverser between the stow and deploy positions
 until all the air is bled from the system.
 NOTE:____ Because of air caught in the reverser hydraulic system,
 the initial sleeve movement can be short and sudden
 and/or slow.  When it makes a smooth movement between
 the stow and deploy positions, all the air is bled from
 the system.

FEEDBACK PUSH-PULL CABLES - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES

 1.  General

 A.  This procedure gives the data for the tasks that follow:
 (1)
Remove the feedback push-pull cable.

 (2)
Install the feedback push-pull cable.

 (3)
Adjust the feedback push-pull cable.

 B.  
This procedure applies equally to the left or right cable on the two engines.

 (1)
The differences will be explained in the procedure.

Do the deactivation procedure for the thrust reverser for ground maintenance (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Remove the fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/401).

Remove the access panel 6301L (6401R) from the top aft surface of the nacelle strut (AMM 12-31-71/201).
