2) With the solenoid held tightly in the installed position, push on the eyebolt until the solenoid plunger touches the solenoid (fully retracted).
3) Make sure the clearance between the restraint arm and the torque tube (View B-B) is now 0.90-1.00 inch.
4) If the clearance is not as shown, remove the solenoid and turn the eyebolt into or out of the solenoid to get the correct clearance.
5) If you removed the solenoid, attach the solenoid to the door frame and the eyebolt to the restraint arm.

(9) Adjust the lift mechanism as follows (Fig 507):
NOTE: You can use this procedure on the two rotary actuator links.
____
(a)
Close the door and get access to the rotary actuators as follows: 1) Open the two ceiling panels, from the second row of panels,
that are inboard of the door. 2) Install the weather barrier that encloses the lift mechanism.
(b)
Disconnect the rotary actuator links from the fittings on the door.
(c)
Manually turn the lift power unit to set the door downstop clearance to that necessary for mechanism adjustment (View A-A, Fig. 512).
(d)
Install the SCD-7 rigging pin in the bottom slot of the actuator link as shown at point B, View A-A, Fig. 512.
(e)
While you keep a tight fit on the rigging pin, adjust the rod end on the actuator link until you can install the bolt at point F.
(f)
Keep a 0.20 inch (0.51 cm) downstop clearance.
(g)
Install the bolt.
(h)
Adjust the rotary actuator link on the other end of the door.
S 825-023
(10)
Adjust the gearbox and brake assemblies as follows ( Fig. 508):
(a)
Use a torque wrench and adapter to turn the forward brake housing assembly in the ratcheting direction.
(b)
Make sure the force necessary to slip the brake is 65-75 pound-inches.
(c)
Turn the torque adjusting ring in to increase the force or out to decrease the force.
(d)
Lock the torque adjusting ring in its position after you completed the adjustment.

Adjust the Side Cargo Door Sequence Switches (Fig. 512 through 516).
S 825-024
(1) Adjust the door down switches as follows (Fig. 512):
NOTE: You can use this procedure for the two door down switches.
____
(a)
The following are general guidelines to use when you adjust any sequence switch: 1) Make sure the mechanical components are adjusted correctly. 2) When the switch actuates, it should move smoothly, quickly
and cleanly to the next position. 3) When the switch is closed, the switch resistance should be much less than one ohm. 4) If the switch does not operate correctly, it should be replaced.
(b)
If it is necessary to get access to the switches, open the two ceiling panels from second row of panels that are inboard of the door.
(c)
Intall the weather barrier that encloses the lift mechanism.
(d)
Close the door and manually turn the lift power unit to get the correct clearance between the rotary actuator arm and the door downstop as shown in View A-A.
(e)
Make sure the clearance between the end of the door down switch plunger and the actuator arm is correct (Use a feeler gage or shim stock to find the clearance.).
(f)
Adjust the switch in the bracket as it is necessary to get the correct clearance.
