 (4)  S 434-015Install the rain seal (Ref 52-32-18/401).
 (5)  S 424-045Connect the wire bundle, electrical connectors D4727J and D4732J and ground wires to terminals that are above the door at the aft end.
 (6)  S 824-016For a new door, (with 1/4-inch too much skin at its bottom and sides), slowly lower the door with the sling while you remove only the minimum quantity of skin to permit the door to be closed (0.005 to 0.015-inch clearance between the door skin and the body cutout). Remove only a small quantity at a time. Do not remove too much skin.
 NOTE:____ This is the initial clearance. You will get the final clearance after you adjust the door.
 (7)  S 094-017Remove the safety barrier.
 (8)  S 434-018Connect the lift mechanism as follows (Fig. 404): (a) Manually turn the lift power unit to set the door downstop clearance for the mechanism adjustment (View A, Fig. 404).

 (b)  
Install the SCD-7 rigging pin in the bottom slot of the actuator link as shown at point B.

 (c)  
While you keep a tight fit on the rigging pin, adjust the rod end on the actuator link until you can install the bolt on the door.


 NOTE: Make sure you keep the downstop clearance to 0.20
____
 inch.

 (d)  Install the bolt.

Adjust the Side Cargo Door Mechanisms

Adjust the hook pin fittings (Fig. 405):

 (a)  
Set the hook actuator in the rigged closed position (Fig. 403):


 CAUTION: USE A TORQUE WRENCH WITH A DIAL INDICATOR TO FIND
_______ WHEN THE ACTUATOR INTERNAL STOPS ARE AGAINST EACH OTHER. DO NOT USE MORE THAN 70 POUND-INCHES OF TORQUE. IF YOU USE MORE THAN 70 POUND-INCHES, YOU CAN CAUSE INTERNAL DAMAGE TO THE ACTUATOR.
 1)  Use a torque wrench with a dial indicator to manually turn the actuator in the close direction (clockwise).
