Put a support on the actuator and remove the bolts (2) that hold the actuator to the support bracket.

Remove the actuator (1).
NOTE: On the aft actuator, you must pull the actuator clear of

(1) Set the hook actuator (1) in the rigged closed position as follows (Fig. 402):
CAUTION: DO NOT USE MORE THAN 70 POUND-INCHES OF TORQUE WHEN YOU TU
_______ TURN THE HOOK ACTUATOR IN THE CLOCKWISE DIRECTION. IF YOU USE MORE THAN 70 POUND-INCHES OF TORQUE, YOU CAN CAUSE INTERNAL DAMAGE TO THE HOOK ACTUATOR.
(a)
Use a torque wrench with a dial indicator to manually turn the actuator in the close direction (clockwise).
