CAUTION: ALLOW 4 MINUTES COOLING TIME BETWEEN THE DOOR OPENING AND
_______ CLOSING. THIS WILL PREVENT THE DRIVE UNIT FROM BECOMING OVERHEATED.
(1) Simultaneously hold the control switches to open the door and look to see these indications:
NOTE: When the door opens or closes it can make unusual noise when
____ the latch pins engage the spherical bearings.
(a)
On the EICAS display: 1) The caution message DOOR NOSE CARGO shows 2) The status message DOOR NOSE CARGO does not show.
(b)
On the synoptic display:
1) The amber nose cargo door shows.
(c)
On the door control and lights panel:
1) White POWER ON light comes on
2) Green LATCHES CLOSED light goes off.
(d)
On the door latch annunciator panel:
1) 16 amber NOT LCHD lights come on
2) 16 green LATCHED lights go off.
(e)
On the door closed annunciator panel:
1) 2 amber DOOR NOT CLOSED lights come on
2) 2 green DOOR CLOSED lights go off.

(2)
When the door is fully opened, make sure the drive unit stops and look to see these indications:
(a)
On the door control and lights panel:
1) Blue DOOR UP light comes on
2) White POWER ON light remains on
3) Green LATCHES CLOSED light remains off.
(b)
On the door latch annunciator panel:
1) 16 amber NOT LCHD lights remain on

2) 16 green LATCHED lights remain off.
(c) On the door closed annunciator panel:
1) 2 amber DOOR NOT CLOSED lights remain on
2) 2 green DOOR CLOSED lights remain off.

Release the control switches and look to see these indications:
(a)
On the door control and lights panel:
1) Blue DOOR UP light remains on
2) White POWER ON light goes off.
(b)
On the EICAS display:
1) The caution message DOOR NOSE CARGO remains

On the synoptic display:
1) The amber nose cargo door remains.
