Do a check of the latch cams, torque tubes and other components of the latch mechanism for corrosion, damage and other bad conditions.

If the latch pin assemblies (Figure 602-Sheet 2) do not have the pin stop brackets, make sure that the pins protrude (stick out) from the bearing plate side of the latch fittings.
