(b) Remove bolts that attach the actuator to the latch fitting and remove the actuator.
NOTE: Do not loosen the latch fitting on body frame when you
____ replace the actuator. The installation of the latch fitting without interference with the mating fitting on the door is difficult to accomplish.

(3) For Latch Actuator 7L or 7R,
Do these steps to remove the latch actuator:
NOTE: The terminal fitting on the linear actuator interferes with
____ the removal of the actuator 7L & 7R; therefore, the latch actuator and latch fitting must be removed together.
(a)
Disconnect the actuator electrical connector.
(b)
Make a mark for the latch fitting location for installation.
(c)
Loosen nut to remove the attachment bolts on the latch fitting.
(d)
Remove the bolts with care to avoid damage to the protective coating.
(e)
Remove the latch actuator and latch fitting.
(f)
Remove bolts that attach the latch actuator to the latch fitting and remove the latch actuator.
