(1) Open the nose cargo door.

CAUTION: DO NOT CRANK THE LATCH ACTUATOR WITH MORE THAN 8 POUND-FEET
_______ TORQUE. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE MANUAL DRIVE INPUT.
(2)
Manually crank each of 16 latch actuators to fully latch and unlatch the pins (approximately 150 turns from the fully latch to unlatched position) and make sure the crank torque is not more than 20 pound-inches.

Close the nose cargo door.

NOSE CARGO DOOR SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General_______
A. This procedure has these tasks:

Nose cargo door operational test
(2)
Nose cargo door adjustment
(3)
Nose cargo door system test
B.
This procedure has instructions to do a complete adjustment and test of the nose cargo door system. For a quick check of the misrigging and deterioration of the nose cargo door system, (AMM 52-31-00/601).
C.
To open/close the door, simultaneously hold the SYSTEM POWER switch in the ON position and the DOOR CONTROL switch in the OPEN/CLOSE position (Fig. 508). When only one of these two switches is held in the open or closed position, the door will not operate. In this procedure, these switches are refered as the control switches.

2. Operational Test - Nose Cargo Door System_________________________________________
A. General
(1)
This procedure has instruction to do an operational test of the nose cargo door system to make sure the door operation is satisfactory. For a detail test of the nose cargo door system, refer to the nose cargo door system test.
