Disconnect the rotary actuator links (1) from the fittings on the door (Fig. 401).

Disconnect the electrical connectors D4727J and D4732J and the ground wires from above the door at the aft end.

Install the sling on the cargo door (Fig. 402).

Attach the sling to the crane.

Open the door manually until the hooks are fully released, then open the door to approximately 20-degrees.

Put the crane in a position to release the load from the door hinges.

Remove the hinge pins (3) as follows:
(a)
Remove the hinge fairings (10).
(b)
Install the screw hinge puller into the threaded hole in the pin to remove the two end hinge pins.
(c)
Push the pins out of the hinges with a drift.
NOTE: Push the pins in the forward direction from the aft end.
____ The hinge pin is 12 pins of different lengths.

Remove the door from the airplane. Put it on the transportation dolly.
(11)
Install a safety barrier across the door opening.
