CAUTION: DO NOT CRANK THE LATCH ACTUATOR WITH MORE THAN 8 POUND-FEET
_______ TORQUE. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE MANUAL DRIVE INPUT.
(3)
Do these steps to tighten the attachment bolts on the latch actuator.
(a)
Manually crank the latch actuator to extend the actuator pin.
NOTE: A small force is necessary to manually crank the latch
____ actuator. If you feel a resistance, the door and body latch fittings can be misaligned or damaged. Do a check for all latch fittings before you crank the latch actuator.
(b)
Tighten the attachment bolts.
(c)
Manually crank the latch actuator to retract the actuator pin.
