Remove the Pressure Relief Door (Fig. 401).

WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE AWAY FROM THE DOOR AND
THE DOOR OPENING WHEN YOU OPERATE THE DOOR. FAILURE OF THE
LIFT MECHANISM COULD CAUSE THE DOOR TO CLOSE QUICKLY WHICH
COULD CAUSE INJURY OR DAMAGE.
(1)
Close and lock the cargo door.

Remove the fiberglass shroud.

Remove the drip sheilds of the pressure relief doors from the cargo door.

Disconnect the control rod and the spring ends from the crank (View A).

(5)
Remove the bolts that secure the hinge fittings to the door frame.

Install the Pressure Relief Door (Fig. 401).

(1) Examine the seal on the pressure relief door for damage or deterioration.
NOTE: If damage is found, repair the seal per AMM 52-09-00/801.

Put the pressure relief door, the hinge fittings, the springs and the shaft as a unit in position on cargo door frame.

Install the hinge fittings with the outboard attachment boltheads in the down posiiton.
(4)
Align the holes in the control rod and pressure relief door crank.
(5)
Put the spring ends into position to touch the attachment bolt.
(6)
Install the bolt as shown (View A).
