(b) (c) (d) (e) Install two loose stud pads on door with supplied bolts. 1) Make sure to install the inner nut and washer down to the stud as far as possible.Install lift bracket (with third pad) over two stud pads. 1) Put the bolts through the third pad and in the door.Install the outer nut and washer on two studs.Tighten the inner and outer nuts against the lift bracket.

(2) Use airplane power or the alternate drive extension to open the nose cargo door to the fully open position (73 degrees).

(3) Disconnect the hinge access door control rod. (a) Disconnect the control rod from the body structure. (b) Keep the hinge access door open with tape.

(4) Remove the nuts, washers, and cotter pins from the hinge bolts.

(5) Reinstall the large nuts. (a) Torque the large nuts to 30 - 35 pound-inches to make sure that the bolts will stay in place.

(6) Use the airplane power or the alternate drive extension to lower the nose cargo door to 15-degree open position (32 degrees from vertical).

(7) Install a wooden strut between the door and body to keep the door in this position.

(8) Open these circuit breakers and attach the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags: (a) On the Auxilary External 2 Power Center-Right panel P715: 1) NOSE CARGO DOOR (b) On the Power Distribution Center-Right panel P415: 1) 415F16, NOSE CARGO DOOR CONTROL (c) On the Nose Cargo Door Power panel H122: 1) DOOR LIFT
